Glass fronts are available from Villeroy & Boch as satin or high-gloss versions. For safety reasons, ESG glass is used which cannot shatter in the event of breakage. The ESG glass elements are painted in colour on the back. This makes "Villeroy&Boch finest" glass fronts easy to clean and largely scratch-resistant. As the edges are very sensitive to impact, they are fitted with a surrounding aluminium frame. This can be ordered in all colours to match the handle strips and recessed grips.
